   Learning French at Alliance Française of Madras
  Alliance Française de Madras offers French language courses at all levels, in groups or on a one-to-one basis, in its College Road and Adyar centres as well as in its branches at Coimbatore, Madurai and Trichy.

Each year around 3,000 students benefit from our experience and expertise.
   
   A communicative approach
  Our teaching is based on modern, efficient techniques, which encourage independent progress and active learning. We use recent books that are in keeping with the language proficiency levels recommended by the European Council.
   
  A student goes through 3 successive stages:
 
• Firstly, a stage of discovery, through observation and experimenting with the language;
• Then, systematic learning of skills, memorizing and training;
• Finally, practicing what has been assimilated, in different oral and written natural communication situations.
  Types of courses / Frequency
 
• 4 sessions per year
• 3 months per session
• Weekday courses : 4 x 2h or 5 x 2h per week
• Weekend courses: 2 x 3h per weekend
• Intensive courses (Fast-Track) : 5 x 2h30 per week or 5 x 3h per week (July-August)
• Extensive courses : 1 x 4h (Sunday only)
• « Crash Course » ( April-May-June) : 5 x 3h or 6 x 3h per week.
