The BNF, the National French Library, offers
a useful site with a digital - library, virtual exhibitions
and besides on-line catalogues. Readers can search the
library's entire catalogue covering printed material from
Gutenberg to the present as well as sound recordings and
audiovisual material, totalling some 8 million references.
